Iams Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Iams is a popular brand name for dog food and cat food manufactured by Spectrum Brands in Europe and Mars, Inc worldwide. The company sells pet food for cats and dogs formulated for puppy/kitten, adult and mature. Its products are developed by nutritionists and veterinarians and can be found in three main formulas: ProActive Health, Healthy Naturals and Premium Protection.
Brook says, "I decided to try IAMS with my dogs, because the price was lower than other brands I usually purchase, but was told the nutrients etc. were comparable. Never again. My 4 yr old dog has never had issues with other foods, this gave him terrible diarrhea. Came home to more poo on the basement floor, than I thought physically possible for one animal. I feel absolutely terrible that I thought switching would be a good idea, and this was the result. Clearly paying a little more is much more worth it."
Forklift Operator (Current Employee) says"Just need something better and a lil more pay and something i can advance in my life but the mangment is excellet very nice people to work with and very understable at times about things"
Lab Technician (Former Employee) says"The position itself provided a solid, stable work setting. The job tasks never required anything outside of my expertise and my co-workers were friendly and helpful. My main issue with working for Iams was the job hours of 12 hour shifts that alternated regularly from day to night shifts. The incongruous shifts made it difficult to establish a regular sleep cycle as well as having a structured schedule outside of work.Good pay, solid staffWork schedule"
Packaging Line Associate (Current Employee) says"I transferred to IAMS Henderson five years ago because I was impressed with the Company's goal to provide dogs and cats with the best quality food to support nutrition and promote a long, healthy life for family pets. Being an animal lover myself, I can attest that the Company's upper management is committed to operating the plant per current FDA rulings and GMP practices as required by law. That being said, I would say that adhering to these strict requirements is probably the hardest part of an associate's job, but all associates realize the necessity put in place to produce top quality food for pets.People there keep work funRotating Shifts"
